On Saturday, September 23, at the historic Lorain Palace Theatre, Baldassarre’s Revival and Cleveland’s OPUS216 string quartet collaborate in a special concert called “From Beethoven to Zeppelin”.
The show is a fusion of rock and classical music. Led by composer, guitarist and Led Zeppelin expert, Carl Baldassarre, the concert includes classic Led Zeppelin tracks supported with strings, as well as original compositions carefully selected to create a unique musical experience.

Carl Baldassarre has worked with many of the greatest musicians and producers in the world of rock and classical music. His progressive rock band Syzygy was a critically acclaimed, international progressive rock band reaching the top of the charts in Germany. Most recently, Carl has been performing with his Baldassarre Revival band members; Al Rolik (Bass Guitar), Guy Snowdon (Lead Vocals), Jim Ruschman (Drums), Billy Brock (Keyboards).
Carl’s new album, Grand Boulevard is receiving raves from the press with the UK’s Fireworks Magazine declaring the album to be “flawlessly crafted, genre-spanning and offering something for everyone. Highly impressive!” Progsheet enthused that the album is “bursting with strong, catchy compositions and memorable guitar acrobatics…” The UK’s Powerplay avowed, “This Grand Boulevard has roses along the way”.
Baldassarre is also known as the “Professor of Classic Rock,” via his popular YouTube channel that has now amassed millions of views. Baldassarre’s channel focuses on the inspiration behind some of classic rock’s best-known hits from The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, Rush and many more. Baldassarre deftly breaks down and demonstrates the world’s most famous classic rock guitar riffs with a warm pedagogy.
Carl Baldassarre is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, USA and studied composition under Dr. Marshall Griffith PhD (Cleveland Institute of Music) as well as being a product of both the Cleveland Music School Settlement and John Carroll University.
